Algebra 1
High school math classes get progressively more difficult every year, which makes it all the more crucial for students to have a solid grasp of the algebra concepts that are at the core of these more advanced classes. Method Learning’s new 9-hour Algebra 1 A and Algebra 1 B courses were designed to teach the most fundamental skills learned in high school Algebra 1 classes; any students who are new to algebra, or who need to review the subject, will benefit from these courses.
Both of our Algebra 1 courses are suitable for advanced 7th and 8th graders as well as for high school students who would like to build a strong foundation in algebra concepts. Students who complete Algebra 1 A are encouraged to also take Algebra 1 B for a comprehensive review of Algebra 1 topics.
Concepts covered in this course include:
- Graphing lines
- Systems of equations
- Systems of inequalities
- Exponents and polynomials
- Dividing polynomials
- Factoring
