Cheryl Rapoza is a licensed school counselor and experienced college admissions advisor with more than 20 years of experience in academic planning and college counseling. Since 1995, she has guided students and families through high school course selection, standardized testing timelines, developing balanced college lists, and comprehensive college application support.

Cheryl brings direct admissions review experience from serving as a seasonal application reader for the University of Southern California, the University of California, Irvine, and the University of California, San Diego. In these roles, she conducted holistic application evaluations, reviewed academic performance in the context of curriculum rigor, recalculated GPA, and assessed activities, recommendations, and essays. She has evaluated applicants from domestic and international schools across IB, AP, A Levels, and national curriculum systems and is familiar with both holistic and data-driven admissions review models.

She holds a Master of Education in Counseling and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston and earned her undergraduate degree from Northeastern University. Cheryl is licensed in School Counseling in Massachusetts and certified in Arizona. She is a member of the New England Association for College Admissions Counseling and the Massachusetts School Counselors Association.

Cheryl advises students pursuing a wide range of intended majors, including liberal arts, business, and STEM fields. Her combined experience in school counseling and selective university admissions review enables her to help students align their academic preparation, extracurricular engagement, and application strategy with their postsecondary goals.
