Carlos Garcia
Carlos Garcia has over 12 years of experience in education, serving in roles including English Teacher, College Counselor, and Director of College Counseling. He brings 9 years of college advising experience and has supported many students through the college admissions process, helping them attend top colleges across the country. He has experience in both the public school and private college advising sectors. Carlos has supported hundreds of students and families through the college admissions and financial aid processes. He is well-versed in completing the FAFSA, the CSS Profile, and scholarship applications. Carlos has attended various college advising conferences hosted by NACAC, IACAC, and other college advising organizations to build community with college admissions representatives and learn more about the ever-evolving college admissions industry. Before joining Method Learning, Carlos taught at a high school in Spain and then led a team of college advisors at a Chicago high school. He enjoys working with all students and helping them master their personal statements and other supplemental essays used in the college admissions process. In his free time, Carlos enjoys hiking with his wife and dogs, spending time at the beach, playing sports, and cooking.
