Kenneth McGhee

Kenneth McGhee is a nationally recognized college financial aid expert with more than 30 years of experience helping families, schools, and universities navigate the college affordability process. He began his career as a financial aid administrator in 1995 and has since served as assistant director, director, and executive director of financial aid for multi-campus colleges and universities. A respected higher education consultant, Kenneth has trained and mentored financial aid officers, high school counselors, and college admissions professionals at the regional, state, and national levels. His expertise encompasses financial aid strategy, enrollment management, and federal and state compliance, all of which focus on increasing access to higher education and enhancing student success. Before joining Method Learning, Kenneth directed major scholarship and financial aid programs for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education in Washington, D.C., where he oversaw more than $40 million in student aid annually. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science in Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a Master of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University, and a Post–Master’s Certificate in Enrollment Management.
